Harriet Lawrie, Junior Web Developer based at Pertemps Head Office, has been shortlisted for a prestigious Graduate Developer of the Year Award.
The Birmingham Silicon Canal Tech Awards 2017 celebrates people in technology and highlights rising stars in the Midlands community. Silicon Canal is a not-for-profit organisation who run voluntarily. They care about building a bigger, stronger tech ecosystem in Birmingham.
Harriet joined the Pertemps family in 2016 after graduating from Loughborough University with a Masters Degree in IT. She is responsible for building over 80 recruitment sites for the Pertemps Network Group and supporting a branch network over 200 offices.
Martin Gunn, Director, said “I’m delighted that Harriet has been nominated and hopeful for the result. She has been a real asset to the web development team since she joined us last year.
“I’ve received a number of complimentary messages about her work from across the business and she is a joy to have on the team. I’m proud that she’s received this recognition and I’d love to see her continue to progress with us leading to further award nominations in the future.”
Harriet said, “I’m really happy to be shortlisted. This nomination reflects the hard work I have put in over the past year. Fingers crossed it’s a good result on the night!”
The award ceremony takes place at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre on Thursday 23rd November, where tech talent from across the city will come together to recognise the best in the business.
From everyone at Pertemps, good luck Harriet!
